Andre, the "oldschool bombproof steel" only applies if there is still some steel left after the elements have taken their toll :)

I was mostly a "60 guy" before I had my pig... The big thing I think is the
width, that three extra inches of body on each side is pretty noticable.
With my piggie I feel like I can really squeak in and around all sorts of
junk that I would have some trouble with in a FJ60... Also 60's have a
tall roof sort of like a Range Rover (rightly so as I think they were sort
of competing against them) so I believe they are more top heavy than even a
pig, pigs just seem to go over easier because they are narrower. So my
solution to that personally is 60 axles under the 55... :)

60's are great though. Not the softness and cushyness (ie cloth seats, roll
up windows) of the 80, but a little smoother than a 55. Definetely very
rugged and strong regardless, I wouldn't say "as tough" as a 55 but close.
Mostly because the sheet metal is thinner unlike our old school heavy duty
old school bombproof steel of the FJ55....

Andre
